Hi Mehketeer!
Itβs been a couple weeks since Iβve been on break - honestly longer than I thought I would beβ¦ so Iβm using public accountability to get myself going again.
However, I have been thinking about changing up the way seasons run, and after just having lunch with Isaac from Pistachio (who also runs the Brand Chemistry newsletter!) I thought Iβd throw one of the topics we talked about to you as a Mehketeer:
Option 1: Keep things as is
The seasons are good for me as a sprint, though usually by Issue 9-10 I am starting to run on fumes and issues get written later and later (i.e. midnight the night before)
Option 2: Ditch seasons
This format would still net the same amount of Mehdeeka issues per year, but theyβd be spaced out with one week on, one week off. I cannot guarantee this wonβt also have issues written at midnight the night before.
Let me know!
Either way, new issues of Mehdeeka coming (very) soon. The next 12 topics are mapped out, I just need to sit down and write.
Thatβs it! Pretty please vote in the poll.
Ciao,
Kayla
I think we'd pretty well all understand if you varied the number of episodes according to availability of time and content...
Having observed busy people previously (usually from a safe distance), I think we can be very thankful for what we do get (for free) without having unreasonable expectations :D
Yep I love the seasons and breaks approach too. I think it helps in keeping me engaged vs some newsletters which i get every week/two weeks/ etc and they start to become wall paper (even when i know the content is interesting and useful).
