Hello old friends!
I totally get if you are like “what is this newsletter and why am I receiving it?”, it’s been many months since I said I was going to close it up and you haven’t heard from me in a while, no hard feelings!
As a refresher: I started Mehdeeka because I was a solo marketer wearing all the hats in a fast growing B2B SaaS company, and I wanted to build myself a network of people in similar positions, people I could learn from, and people I could share with. I feel like that was achieved, but then I moved into a specialist role, and it was hard to keep up with my specialisation and still have this generalist hat on for this newsletter, so I decided to let it go rather than have the quality drop.
Through a rollercoaster of events, I am back to a generalist position, but I’m also now flying solo! And already my gears are turning and my brain is filled up with topics that I want to share, and where better to share than here.
Look forward to that, the first big topic will be about websites and picking agencies, but in all honesty I haven’t started on it yet so it might be out in a week or two.
Until then, here are some recommendations!
My ex-colleagues and current friends Simon Hilton and Alejandro Patterson wrote a book, The Product Strategy Bridge, and I just finished reading it. It’s all about making product teams and other business teams see eye to eye, speak the same language, and align. There’s action points at the end of every topic and it’s written for both current leaders who are proactive, and for team members who have not-so-proactive leaders they want to give a gentle nudge to to be better.

PeerSignal is a cool hub of companies to look at for best practice, and it looks like they’re building out more. It’s basically a collection of home page screenshots and a database of companies grouped by different themes, the only thing I don’t like is it requires you to connect to your LinkedIn.
Feel free to unsubscribe if you’re no longer interested, I understand a lot can change over ~9 months! I’d rather not be annoying clutter in your inbox.
See you soon!
P.S. one question for you (click to vote):
A) keep the banner or B) refresh the look?
I don’t know if I ever said this but the inspo for my mailbox banner image was the hungry hungry caterpillar.
